Jeff Young

Jeff YoungChairman and Chief Executive Officer, is committed to maintaining a high degree of integrity in every Evolution1 transaction and interaction. Jeff has nearly two decades of leadership experience in software and the financial systems industry. Prior to joining Evolution1 in 2008, Jeff was VP of Dynamics – US for Microsoft, responsible for sales and partner distribution. He was also a General Manager for several product groups at Microsoft including Dynamics GP, Dynamics CRM and Dynamics Retail. Previously, Jeff held a variety of positions at Great Plains Software, including Executive VP of North American Sales, Marketing and Services and VP of Global Product Development. Jeff’s background combines an unparalleled level of experience and success in sales, marketing, customer service, product development and partner management. Jeff is a graduate of Jamestown College.


Chris Byrd

Chris ByrdPresident and Chief Operating Officer, oversees the daily execution of Evolution1’s business as well as its sales, marketing, and partner relationship activities. He also leads the company’s business development, M&A, and industry and government relations efforts. Chris has over 25 years’ experience in employee benefits and banking. As a founder of Evolution Benefits in 2000, he played a key role in designing the proprietary architecture for EB’s prepaid benefits card. Previously, Chris focused on finance, strategy, and business development for Value Health and two startup health care companies. He began his career in commercial banking. Chris is a frequent speaker on emerging trends in financial services and benefits and is active in industry and government relations. He is a founder and Vice Chair of SIGIS: Special Interest Group for IIAS Standards and is active in the local community, serving on the Boards of the United Way of Northern and Central Connecticut and Riverfront Recapture Inc., as well as the Economic Development Council of the Metro Hartford Alliance. Chris holds an AB in Economics from Brown University.


Todd Reynolds

Todd ReynoldsChief Technology Officer, provides guidance and leadership to help create the IT strategy for Evolution1’s software products. Todd joined Lighthouse1 in 2008, and is a veteran of the technology industry with nearly 20 years of experience working for major software development corporations. Previously, Todd was a Principle Program Manager for Microsoft, leading the team that helped design and deliver Enterprise Resource Planning software for customers around the world. Prior to joining Microsoft, Reynolds held senior leadership positions at Great Plains Software, including VP of Product Development, Director of Product Development and Senior Project Manager. Todd is a graduate of Jamestown College.


Jeff Bakke

Jeff BakkeChief Strategy Officer, leads the charge in setting the strategic direction for Evolution1. Jeff has 20 years of experience in business and technology management in the healthcare and financial industries, including leadership in national health plans and the consumer-driven healthcare space. His areas of expertise include strategic and operational technology planning, extended enterprise solutions, technology project management, and application architecture. Prior to coming aboard Lighthouse1 in 2005, he served as the Senior VP of Consulting Solutions at SafeNet, where he developed strategic and operational technology plans for large businesses. Jeff holds a Bachelor of Electrical Engineering from the University of Minnesota Institute of Technology, is a member of the Project Management Institute, and winner of the 2002 Minnesota Tekne Award.


Jeff Brunsberg

Jeff BrunsbergChief Market Officer, develops both short and long term strategic marketing plans and sales strategies to position Evolution1 as a nationally recognized brand in the consumer-driven healthcare market. Jeff has 15 years of experience in organization management, marketing, and consulting, primarily in financial services, healthcare and consumer-driven healthcare. Prior to joining Lighthouse1 in 2008, Jeff was Executive VP for a major benefits firm, after having founded his own HR consulting firm. He started his professional career at 3M in a variety of business development and marketing roles, where he was recognized for creating consistent, unparalleled growth in the business. Involved in a number of civic organizations, Jeff is a passionate advocate in the employee benefit and healthcare marketplace. He is a member of ECFC, a charter member of NAPBA and regularly speaks at industry events. Jeff holds a degree in Management from Bemidji State University and an MBA from University of Mary.


Jonathon Dussault

Senior Vice President, Finance, is responsible for all aspects of the finance organization, including financial reporting, planning, analysis, accounting policy, banking/lender activities, and merger/acquisition execution and integration. Jonathon has over 15 years of experience in technology, benefits, and healthcare related companies. He joined the company in 2003 and most recently was VP of Corporate Development at Women’s Health USA. Previously, he was responsible for financial planning & analysis at Open Solutions, Inc., a leading provider of software for financial institutions. Jonathon started his career at Arthur Andersen’s Boston office and earned his CPA certification in Massachusetts. Jonathon holds a BS in Accounting from Babson College where he graduated summa cum laude.


Lloyd Nelson

Vice President of Administration & Development, provides guidance and leadership for the Administrative, Human Resource, and Facilities functions of Evolution1.  Lloyd has over 20 years of experience in the areas of software, financial, human resources, and administration management.  Prior to joining Lighthouse1 in 2008, Lloyd was a Director of Business Development for Microsoft, involved in M&A processes, contract negotiations, and new partner/alliance development.  Lloyd was also General Manager of the Enterprise Reporting group for Microsoft Great Plains software. Prior to its merger with Microsoft, Lloyd led the OEM solutions team for Great Plains Software.  An economic history buff, Lloyd holds an MBA and BS degree in economics from North Dakota State University, as well as management certifications from Harvard University and the University of Chicago.


Laine Brantner

Laine BrantnerExecutive Vice President, Partner and Financial Services, works with Evolution1’s Partners to ensure their growth and success, and is responsible for development of the company’s financial services business. Laine has 15 years of experience in financial institution, retirement, health care and consumer-driven healthcare industry executive leadership. Prior to joining Lighthouse1 in 2008, he led key initiatives in groundbreaking work for a major financial institution deeply involved in consumer driven healthcare systems. After beginning his professional career with a public accounting firm, Laine worked in progressively responsible roles for major healthcare and financial corporations for more than a decade. Laine holds a BA in Business Administration from the University of Iowa, and an MBA from Baylor University.


Matthew Dallahan

Matthew DallahanSenior Vice President, Strategy and Product Development, is responsible for product strategy, new product design and development, and enhancements to our current product offerings. Matt has 15 years’ experience in the benefits and health care industry, and was a member of the team that designed, developed and launched Evolution Benefit’s core product and service model. Prior to joining Evolution Benefits in 2001, he was a founder of a consulting firm specializing in health care system integration and was a senior consultant in Accenture’s health care practice. His experience includes working with providers, payers, and TPAs to design and implement innovative technology solutions. Matt graduated Cum Laude with a BA in Political Science and a minor in Economics from Fairfield University.


Deb Lembo

Deb LemboSenior Vice President, Service Delivery and Operations, oversees implementation, training, customer service, and fulfillment for Evolution1. Deb has over 25 years’ of experience in health care and benefits operations. She joined Evolution Benefits in 2002, where she was instrumental in both building and running the Operations Department. Previously, Deb spent 21 years with CIGNA, where she managed all aspects of operations, including claims/call centers, enrollment/benefit setup, and implementations. At CIGNA Healthcare, Deb orchestrated significant improvements through service turnarounds and operational efficiencies that resulted in significant cost reductions for the company. Deb holds a BS in Finance from the University of Connecticut.
